At Humboldt Yoga we understand the importance of community in the wellness journey. This package includes a season of unlimited yoga, a guided meditation course, and private session with Stephanie Klein to kickstart your New Year.
Wether you are a beginner or advanced student our classes will help attain your highest self. Specializing in the Gosh lineage of hot yoga we offer the original hot yoga sequence daily, sometimes twice. On Saturdays we extend the knowledge in our intermediate offering and on Sundays we balance the more intense (yang) yoga with a restorative yin yoga offer. Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle, increase flexibility or improve your overall health, we've got you covered. Our certified teachers will help you achieve your yoga goals.
Our Primordial Sound Meditation classes will help you reduce stress, improve focus, and increase overall well-being. Certified by the Chopra Foundation, I will guide you through four meditation classes and provide a personalized mantra based on your time and location of birth to help you find inner peace. In an effort to help you refine your practice and get results that make you feel great, a one hour session will be focused on your personal desires. Sessions can range from yoga and meditation, to a focused discussion about your wellness goals. I offer a variety of techniques to suit your wellness needs and questions. This discussion may include an introduction to Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga) and your personal dosha constitution informing daily rituals. Whether you seek relief from stress, pain, or emotional challenges, our tailored approaches can guide you on your wellness journey.
Research shows that it takes 21 days to forms habits (healthy or not). By focusing on a single habit for three weeks, individuals can create lasting changes in their behavior and lifestyle. This wellness package lays the foundation for anyone looking to improve their health, productivity, or overall well-being. Primordial Sound Meditation is easily learned in four short sessions over a period of a few weeks.
We’ll learn how meditation dissipates stress, discuss the basics of meditation and mantras, and explore how to break free of old habits and conditioning. We will also examine how we are multidimensional beings by looking at Adi Shankara's model of the layers of life. We'll discuss the origins of Primordial Sound Meditation, explore the roles of mantras, and learn how Primordial Sound Meditation mantras are chosen.
The next class will be a monumental step toward establishing a lasting and life-changing meditation practice. In a one-on-one ceremony, I’ll teach you your Primordial Sound Meditation mantra, which has been selected just for you using ancient Vedic mathematics. Then, I’ll guide you through using it in a personal meditation instruction.
We’ll all meet again to discuss the practical aspects of meditation: when to meditate and where, how to time your meditations, what to do with your pets, why you're having various experiences, and so on. We’ll also meditate as a group.
We’ll meet to discuss the higher states of consciousness and the predicted benefits of meditation as we continue to practice regularly.
Primordial Sound Meditation, or PSM, is a healing practice that allows us to experience inner calm and deep relaxation. For thousands of years, people have used meditation to move beyond the mind's busy activity and emotional turbulence into profound peace and expanded awareness.
In the age of digital devices, social media, and busy schedules, the restful awareness we experience during meditation is more valuable than ever. The pace of life has accelerated, and every day we are bombarded with more information and stimulation than our ancestors encountered during entire lifetimes. Not surprisingly, the number of people suffering from stress, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic health problems is on the rise—and many are searching for peace of mind.
The most direct way to experience inner silence and well-being is meditation, a tool to rediscover the body's own inner intelligence. As scientific research reveals, when you meditate, your breathing slows, blood pressure decreases, and stress hormone levels fall.
