I am Morgen Maier, local artist (mama & gardener) behind Earthen Furrow Studio. It is my opinion that the potent energy found in nature is complex spirit in the simplest form. Earthen Furrow Studio is the place where elements of what I witness and receive when I tap into this energy are revisited. In nature, we are surrounded by infinite examples of magic. I hope to infuse that magic into my work with imagery and colors that both ignite and soothe the soul, as they do to me when I am painting them. Stopping to witness and enjoy the natural world around us is such an honorable and accessible way to worship.
Journey into the soul using breath work and sound to provide therapeutic and restorative effects for the mind and body. Sound vibration with crystal bowls, will allow your nervous system settle while experiencing healing powers,, connection, and community.
Sound has proven to have healing effects on the mind as well as the body. A sound bath session can lead to reduced anxiety levels, tension, and sadness as well as diminished pain.

To understand yin yoga you have to experience it. We hold a short number of postures over an hour time to open not just the physical body, but also the subtle body. We use props to aid in the relaxation during each pose while letting the stillness bring you to a deeper state of consciousness while opening the body. We don't use the body to get into a pose, we use the pose to get into our body. See you Sunday.
