Also known as the Classic 26& 2 sequence; one of the most popular styles of yoga in the world. This style of yoga consists of twenty-six yoga postures and two breathing exercises that are always done in exactly the same order to give the student consistency and to track progress. The class is heated to 105°F (40°C) to relieve muscle resistance without risking injury. By the end of this class you will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ, and gland, while systematically moving fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of the body.
This Intermediate Gosh lineage yoga class adds to the foundation learned in the Beginner’s 26 & 2 Series. With the addition of salutations, inversions, hip openers, and arm balances, the yoga student is challenged in a new way, helping them keep their yoga practice fresh with constant learning. This class is slightly cooler than the 26 & 2 with the temperature set around 103°F as the students move much quicker from posture to posture and will be creating their own internal heat. Meant for every body, this class was created for any yogi willing to try something new and give it their best shot.
