My yoga journey began in 2008 while pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy at Johns Hopkins University. After my first 90-minute hot yoga class, I knew I had found a practice that would profoundly shape my life.
What began as a physical practice soon became a path of self-inquiry, discipline, and personal transformation.
In 2015, I completed Bikram Teacher Training in Thailand and began teaching while continuing my work as an environmental consultant. Over time, I realized that the most meaningful way I could contribute to positive change was by helping people cultivate greater awareness, resilience, and well-being in their own lives.
In 2018, I opened Humboldt Yoga with the intention of creating a welcoming space for dedicated practice and personal growth. My teaching is rooted in the Ghosh lineage and informed by years of study with respected teachers, workshops, immersions, and continuing education. I have studied and taught throughout the western United States, Mexico, and India, while remaining deeply connected to the Humboldt community.
I am committed to offering accessible classes grounded in traditional instruction and disciplined technique. Through consistent practice, students develop strength, clarity, resilience, and a deeper connection to themselves—both on and off the mat.
